The Mexican striker Javier Hernandez has said that the incredible comeback by Manchester United in the recent match with Aston Villa was due to the belief of the side. United were trailing Aston Villa 2-0 in the match before the introduction of Javier Hernandez made a huge difference to the game.

The striker was responsible for scoring two goals, as he helped comeback to win the match 3-2. This has been a very strange season for Manchester United, as they have been making a number of comeback victories in the league. Hernandez has been one of the main reasons for their comeback victories, and he was once again responsible for the same against Aston Villa as well.

United were trailing in the half-time break due to a goal from Andreas Weimann just before half-time. He then scored immediately after a few minutes of the second half to give Aston Villa a two-goal advantage in the match. Hernandez, though, pulled one back minutes later after the second goal by Aston Villa. An own goal from Vlaar a few minutes later helped United get level in the match. From then on in, there appeared to be just one winner and Hernandez provided the winning goal in the 83rd minute.

"We've never given up in the history of Manchester United. That's what the gaffer and all the legends show you. You learn the game is 90 minutes, so you fight to the end. It doesn't matter who scored the goals. The most important thing is who is top of the league and that we came back from two goals down to win," said Hernandez after the match. This victory helped Manchester United retain their place as the Premier league leaders. So far, United have had eight victories from losing positions in all competitions this season.
